Roots and Wings

Born into the rich cultural tapestry of Palestine, my first breaths were taken in the historic city of Nicosia, Cyprus. This marked the beginning of a life destined to be woven with diverse experiences. From Cyprus, my family moved to Hong Kong, where I was raised and where I spent 30 vibrant years. Hong Kong, a bustling hub of culture and commerce, was the backdrop of my formative years and where my passion for finance first sparked.

Academic and Professional Milestones

Fuelled by a growing interest in the intricate dance of numbers and markets, I pursued higher education at Stanford University, earning a Master's in Financial Engineering. This experience sharpened my analytical skills and prepared me for the complexities of the financial world. After Stanford, I took on the role of Investment Analyst at Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company. My time at Aramco was not just about analyzing investments but also about understanding the global impact of energy economics.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Driven by a desire to create and manage, I founded Ashi Holding, a firm dedicated to building and acquiring remarkable companies. This venture has been a profound journey in leadership and strategic growth. Following this, I established DMR Analytics, a company focused on transforming morning reports for the oil and gas drilling industry into actionable insights through innovative software solutions.

A Twist of Fate: Budget Mastery

Interestingly, my deep dive into budgeting wasn't planned. Moving to Saudi Arabia introduced me to a unique rental expectation—paying six months' rent in advance. This challenge turned into an opportunity when I developed a highly precise budgeting dashboard. What began as a necessity evolved into a sophisticated spending iOS application, enabling me to track every cent. This tool not only transformed my financial management but also sparked a passion for helping others achieve financial clarity and security.
